General information only
The guides, articles and answers on this Site are general information for homeowners and businesses in Bernalillo County. They are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a qualified technician.
Licensed local firm, legal notice
Albuquerque Water Damage Restoration is a referral and dispatch service. The technicians who attend a property are employed by an independent local partner that is not owned or controlled by Albuquerque Water Damage Restoration. The independent partner is solely responsible for the licenses, permits, registrations and insurance required for the work it performs, and for compliance with the rules of the office that issues them.
A customer may request the independent partner's license number by telephone at any time, and the partner may also provide it directly. The number is not published on this website, for the privacy of the partner. A customer should verify any license number with the New Mexico Construction Industries Division before the work is authorized.
Albuquerque Water Damage Restoration does not warrant or guarantee the work performed by the independent partner, and does not hold itself out as holding any license for that work. Where no license category exists for a task, the independent partner is responsible for identifying and holding whatever credential the task requires, and for telling the customer which one applies.
Nothing on this website is a representation that the independent firm has been audited or vetted by Albuquerque Water Damage Restoration, or that any particular insurance policy will respond to a loss.

Prices are estimates
Price ranges are typical estimates for our service area in 2026. They are not quotes or offers. Your price is confirmed in person before any work starts.
Safety around water damage
Standing water can hide live electrical circuits: do not walk into a flooded room until power to that area is off. Sewage and floodwater (IICRC Category 3) can carry bacteria and viruses; keep children, pets and anyone with a weak immune system away, and do not handle contaminated materials without protection. Visible mold larger than a small patch should be assessed before anyone disturbs it. When in doubt, leave the area and call a professional.
Licensing, standards and insurance
Repair and reconstruction work in New Mexico is regulated by that state's contractor licensing board. The IICRC S500 (water damage) and S520 (mold remediation) standards are industry guidance, not government licenses. Insurance coverage is decided by your insurer under your policy; nothing on this Site is a promise of coverage or of a claim outcome, and information here is a summary, not legal or insurance advice.
